(Malin+Goetz) Glycolic Acid Pads

Is your skin feeling dry after that never ending winter? Or does the sun have you peeling? Then these are for you! (Malin+Goetz) 10% Glycolic Acid Pads "sloughs away dead skin to encourage cell turnover, collagen production and to smooth wrinkles for a healthy, radiant glow," (as stated on their website).  I started using these after my sister and I were walking through Nordstroms, and a sales associate approached us, asking if she could try a sample on our hands. We said yes, assuming it wouldn't be that great and went along with our shopping expenditure. Once getting to our next store, we noticed that the spots on our hands where the lady had rubbed the pad, had accumulated dead skin. Our skin was honestly peeling off, as gross as it sounds.

I went home, did some research on the product, read other reviews, and as I expected from my experience, everyone had positive things to say! I purchased them, $48.00 for 50 pads, and started using them. I wanted to slowly introduce my skin to the glycolic acid, so I started with just once a week, then gradually upped it to two. You leave it on for 20 minutes, and as you build a tolerance can even leave it on over night. My skin has never felt so soft without having to get a spa treatment or spend tons of money. I am in my third month and still have plenty product left!

I will definitely be repurchasing this product. Just make sure you use plenty of SPF while doing these treatments to prevent burning on your new skin cells!

Argan Oil

Josie Maran Argan Oil

I've been favoring my argan oil lately! I've replaced my normal go-to moisturizers with Josie Maran Argan Oil. Hair, nails, body, face... I can't get enough! The word oil can be intimidating when it comes to facial moisturizers, but argan oil is lightweight and quickly absorbs into your hair/skin. A little goes a long way, so it is worth the price! Witch Hazel

Witch Hazel

Witch Hazel is a necessity in every medicine cabinet. It is one of those cheap, multi-use products that people over look. I use it as an astringent for my face after I wash it (helps with blemishes, spots, and also locks in moisture) and you can also use it for under eye bags, razor burn (preventing and healing), bug bites, healing bruises... do I need to keep going? For less than $10.00 at any local drugstore, grocery store or you can order it online this is a must try!

Essie Summer Neons

Essie Summer Neons
L to R: DJ play that song, boom boom room, shake your $$ maker

Today I bought the new Essie Neon colors from a local beauty store! I have been dying to try these and I heard they hit stores May 1, but saw them and could not resist! Nothing like some new polishes to brighten up your day (literally, because these are BRIGHT). There are six colors in the collection, but I only loved three. The other three were a neon orange (saturday disco fever), a hot pink (bottle service), and a royal, bright blue (bouncer it's me). Can't wait to try these out :-)

Red Lip

Red Lip

I just wanted to give a quick tutorial on a dark, red lip look I wore recently. There are SO many shades of red and I know it can be overwhelming when you go to make a purchase! This is just one of many red lip looks I have done, but hopefully it'll suit some of you.

Line your lips with a lipliner a couple shades darker than your lipstick. I used "Just My Type"-MAC.  It doesn't need to be perfect- smudging on the inside is good!

Take your second lipliner, (in this case "Basic Red Chronographic Pencil"- MAC) one that is a similar shade to the lipstick you'll be using, and line the inside of your lips. Once again smudging into the darker shade is okay!

Grab the lipstick ("Russian Red"- MAC) you will be using and go over all the lip using a lip brush.

Xoxo

Sea Salt Soap

Swedish Dream Sea Salt Soap
There is this soap I have been using that I absolutely love! I know bar soap isn't really the most popular beauty product when you're  shopping, but I stumbled upon this one and I'm sure happy to have found it! It is a bar soap called 'Swedish Dream Sea Salt Soap,' manufactured by Kala Style. I purchased this off of Urban Outfitters online (obviously apparel shopping, like I said you never search for bar soaps!), but I know you can buy it off of Amazon also. It gently exfoliates the skin and it has a clean scent to it!

You need to try it for yourself and you'll see what I mean. If you want to purchase this soap you can get it HERE
